Over the top - the best ever!- November 09
This is an all suites hotel. Huge rooms, well appointed baths, the staff is ever attentive to your needs. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every area it is no wonder that the are continually winning awards.
Stay here - you will not regret it!
Excellent location - you will need to park your car in their garage for 40 euro/night as this is in historic section with no other parking. Traffic here e
will make you happy to have parked the car.
The breakfast included is good & they have a cocktail hour with snacks available.

Truly unique historic building, elegant suites very helpful staff- November 09
If you're looking for a unique and elegant suite of rooms don't miss this hotel. Historic family owned manor transformed into an all suites hotel. This is not the place for you if you're looking for a large hotel with lots of people buzzing around the lobby. They cater to a specific clientele who desire exceptional suite facilities and privacy. Both the bedroom and living room were exceptionally large and furnished completely. Bathrooms were all new and well accomodated with bath/shower, bidet, wc, and large period sink/vanitiy, with a nice added feature of a separate adjacent sink / vanity make up area. Furnished very nicely in period furnishings, draperies, artwork and lighting. Our suite had a lovely balcony with table and chairs overlooking the interior courtyard. Plenty of room with large living area full sofa with tables and two overstuffed chairs, working desk area and spearate dining table and chairs. Flat screen televisions in each room with music/cd's and dvds. Breakfast room was very nice with many options to choose from. The hotel does not have a restaurant other than the breakfast area but you can order dinner to be served in your suite. We were there in November so the rooftop terrace bar was closed for the season however the rooftop terrace is not to be missed with is 360 degree views of Florence. We will definitely return to enjoy the rooftop terrace in the warmer season where you can also have the option of dinner served.
